Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, hardworking individual to support with the management of our German D2C sites here in the UK. The Trading Manager will help execute our strategies for our ecommerce brands in the health, beauty and wellness industry. The successful candidate will have an interest in health and beauty, online sales, performance marketing and a general passion for e-commerce, data and new systems. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all promotional/sale activity is set up accurately and tested ahead of launch

  • Working closely with the Head of trading and marketing teams to plan the homepage and landing page content, providing analysis to ensure commercial balance

  • Proactively planning ahead to ensure brand promotions and activations are given appropriate visibility across site and marketing channels

  • Briefing content requirements to the creative team and managing/supporting content upload and updates 

  • Working closely with the buyers and our partners to ensure product launches happen on time and products are assigned to all appropriate listing pages

  • Manual merchandising of relevant categories e.g. edits, gift guides

  • Maximise cross selling opportunities through product recommendations, continual review of performance and placement

  • Review product performance and availability and request additional stock from Merchandising if required

  • Troubleshooting website/pricing/customer issues and liaising with appropriate teams to resolve issues and provide feedback in a timely manner

  • Conducting regular competitor research and performance reports for the sites.

  • Optimise the user journey onsite and make recommendations and suggestions to improve the customer journey based on data and analysis.

  • Full analysis of the website across all stages of the consumer journey

Candidate Requirements

  • German-speaker fluent or native
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Ecommerce is preferred

  • A strong commercial mindset and customer first approach

  • Confident with data and analytics skill

  • Interest in leading projects and strong attention to detail

  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise workload effectively

  • Proactive and positive approach to problem solving

  • Team player with excellent communication skills both internally and externally

  • Experience in design platforms is a plus (eg. Photoshop) 

  • Experience is Shopify is a plus
