Job Description

As Ecommerce Trading Manager at Social Chain you will be joining more than just an ecommerce team. You’ll be joining a new and fast-growing ecommerce division of one of the most exciting social first agencies in the world.

With 12 brands spanning across three regions you’ll take control and drive forward the growth of our online business, which spans the beauty, home, clothing, gifting and accessories categories.

We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference and help develop a company they love to work for.

You should be confident, proactive and have a real passion for ecommerce and a proven experience of delivering commercial growth. We are looking for someone who loves a good idea and has the creativity and drive to execute those ideas.

You will be responsible for:

  • Key site metrics including revenue, gross profit, EBITDA, conversion rate, average order value and traffic
  • Measuring channel performance and providing recommendations to the relevant stakeholders
  • Working in conjunction with the marketing team to identify new customer channels as well as optimise existing channels 
  • The end-to-end customer experience, optimising the user journey in order to enhance performance
  • Working in collaboration with the creative design teams to strengthen brand image and awareness
  • Owning the Trading planner, including new product launches, campaign and key promotional dates.

Candidate Requirements

Required skills and attributes:

  • Analytical and commercially-astute
  • Confident with large quantities of data and reporting
  • Two – Three years of ecommerce experience
  • Affiliate Partnerships and CRM experience is a plus
  • Fast; to take an idea and run with it – move fast and break things
  • Fearless; to jump in at the deep-end and take ownership for your online business, driving performance to the next level
  • Ever-changing; the agility to react to a dynamic market and reprioritise workstreams based on internal goals
