Job Description


Social Chain are looking for a new Head of Gaming in our Manchester office to oversee and manage 2 key brands for one of the largest social-first gaming communities in the world.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader to take control of Gamebyte and FragHero and grow the brands to a new level. We’re looking for someone to be responsible for the commercial development of the brands, including brand deals, ad-inventory, sponsorships, mid-roll advertisements etc. Ensuring all targets are hit. 

You will be in charge of defining the brand values/purpose and championing this within your team in order to stay at the forefront of social, video and publishing trends. Be involved in the pitching process for commercial opportunities; co-ordinating with the commercial team to ensure the pitch decks and pitches themselves and are in-line with your brand guidelines. 

Reporting to the Chief Media Officer, this role will mainly consist of developing new avenues that will fulfill the two business goals; brand equity and revenue. 

Candidate Requirements

We’re looking for someone with experience of working in the gaming industry and has a real love for the gaming world. Proven sales/commercial record is also essential as you will be required to undertake monthly reports to the leadership teams on the commercial and operational success of the brand; highlighting what needs improving and acting upon this. (Full control over brand P&Ls).
