Job Description

Calling all data and strategy social media lovers! Our New York office is looking for a Junior Insights Strategist to support with reporting and data projects across different clients.

As a Junior Insights Strategist you will work closely with the social media managers, the content strategist, and the account managers, to make sure that all clients’ social activity is aligned with the overall strategy defined for the brand. By analyzing performance data and keeping up to date with the latest social innovations and trends, the Junior Insights Strategist would be responsible for presenting teams with ways to optimize existing activity and adapt to an ever changing industry. 

Candidate Requirements

Role Responsibilities:

  • Own weekly and monthly reporting across existing brands whilst also suggesting new ways to report on success. 
  • Work with strategists and creatives to ideate and respond to monthly content briefs. 
  • Collaborating with social media managers to recommend innovative reactive content. 
  • Understand social listening services and research techniques to support the development and execution of pitch decks, audits, and strategies. 
  • Stay up-to-date and maintain fluency with the latest cultural trends, social tactics, platform changes, and industry news.
  • Support other strategy team members where needed (paid, SMM, research, planning, etc).

Additional Info


  • 1-2 years experience in social media marketing (internships count).
  • Passionate about the social media landscape while vastly knowledgeable about current social platforms features and best practices.
  • Analytical and comfortable with numbers whilst also being able to pull actionable insights for timely reports. 
  • Comfortable with repetitive, routine, and detail-oriented tasks.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and presentation tools as well as analytics and other reporting systems.
  • Independent thinker and motivated self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Promotes a culture of innovation and teamwork while adhering to agency processes.
  • Punctual and effective at managing your own time.
  • Familiarity with data visualization in google slides/powerpoint/keynote a plus.
  • Working knowledge of relevant Analytic tools (e.g. Crimson Hexagon, SocialBakers, Global Web Index) - preferred.
