Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ecommerce professional who is looking for the next step up in their career. The Head of International Ecommerce will be responsible for a portfolio of brands spanning the categories of Home & Living, Sports & Lifestyle. They will be responsible for the overall performance, growth & strategy of these brands, reporting directly to C Level. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in Trading, Marketing & people management. 

Key responsibilities:

•The ecommerce strategy, P&L & growth of our online D2C businesses

•Training, developing & leading a team comprised of both Trading & Marketing Managers and Executives

•Overall accountability for key metrics including traffic, AOV, CVR, & ultimately, revenue & EBITDA. 

•Monitoring channel performance, reporting & providing recommendations to the relevant stakeholders

•Working with the marketing team to identify new customer channels as well as optimise existing channels 

•Delivery of a social commerce strategy across the portfolio; identifying new platforms & executing new strategies 

•The end-to-end customer experience, optimising the user journey in order to enhance performance

•Working in collaboration with the creative design teams to strengthen brand image & awareness

•Overseeing the Trading planners, including new product launches, campaign & key promotional dates

•Liaising with central functions; operations, buying, logistics, CS & data to strengthen the overall proposition 

Candidate Requirements

Desired skills & experience:

•+4 years ecommerce experience 

•Commercially astute & financially literate 

•Confident with data & analytics 

•Highly organised with ability to prioritise workload effectively

•Proactive & positive approach to problem solving

•Management experience with strong communication & leadership skills 

•Experience is Shopify is a plus
