Job Description

Social Chain is a global social first marketing agency with offices in New York, London, Manchester, Berlin, and Munich. In working with Social Chain, you’ll have the opportunity to work with world-class brands, across a multitude verticles inclusive of fashion, food, entertainment, and sports.

Our Strategy Internship is an excellent opportunity for undergraduates and recent graduates to gain experience in the social media marketing industry. Learning from a devoted team of strategic thinkers, you will be given the tools to think outside the box,  developing actionable insights to draw creative upon. As strong believers in the power of working collectively to accomplish end goals, you’ll collaborate closely with individuals across departments - all the while learning about core processes of our creative, production, design, and account management teams.

Internship placements run for a three month period, with a three to five day a week commitment, during which time you will:

  • Have the opportunity to learn how to develop actionable insights for brands Cath Kidston, Gogo SqueeZ, BlastZ and many others.
  • Work hand-in-hand with strategic team members to create social media strategies, aligning with client goals and objectives.
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences through a plethora of social and audience software tools
  • Assist in creating weekly and monthly reports on social accounts' performance
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Participate in internal team meetings

Candidate Requirements

  • Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills in written, oral and social media
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Drive
  • Passion for analytics and data visualization (social media data experience a big plus)
  • Creativity, ambition, and a strong work ethic
  • Self-starter, motivated individual
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be resourceful and creative with solutions
