Job Description

We’re currently looking for a Head of New Business & Client Development to join our team at Social Chain Manchester.

As Head of New Business & Client Development you will be responsible for identifying, opening up, developing and nurturing profitable new business relationships for the business. You will identify and convert new opportunities by responding to and commercialising outbound enquiries, conducting inception calls and meeting establishing yourself as the first point of contact on behalf of Social Chain.

After understanding the client’s objectives, challenges and requirements in the initial meeting, the new business manager is responsible for the client briefing process, liaising with strategy, data, creative and accounts teams to develop and deliver a comprehensive proposal.

You will also work very closely with the marketing and account management teams on everything from client interaction, content marketing to events.

Candidate Requirements

Must haves

  • Previous new business experience, preferably agency side.

  • A demonstrable track record of success.

  • A strong understanding and passion for social first campaigns.

  • Be confident in presenting your ideas to clients and the business.

  • The ability to work independently.

  • Ability and willingness to continuously learn and grow.
