Job Description

Social Chain is the first integrated social media company. We are pioneers in the creation, development and scaling of social media brands. Through our world-leading reach, industry-defining marketing capabilities and first-party data, we market our own direct-to-customer products, using our own social media reach of 80 million people worldwide. 

We are therefore seeking an innovative social media native to join the ecommerce team here at Social Chain, reporting to the MD. As Head of Social, you will be responsible for executing social media strategies across our global brands which span a variety of categories - Home & Living, Beauty & Wellbeing and Food.

You will be passionate about E-commerce, and excited about the prospect of joining the team through a significant growth period. 

Candidate Requirements

  • The Head of Social will be ultimately accountable for our strategy across the portfolio of D2C and Social Commerce brands. 

  • You will embed ecommerce into Social activity in an authentic and seamless manner. 

  • Responsible for fostering and growing communities around our brands, with the ambition of creating loyal customers who advocate for us in return. 

  • The Head of Social will live by our values of First, Fearless and Ever-changing. You will innovate, ideate and execute social-first strategies across both existing and newer, upcoming platforms. 

  • Develop a content strategy which plays to the latest social innovations, trends and platform best practices.

  • Collaborate with the wider Trading and Marketing teams (CRM, Outreach, CX, Design etc) to implement comprehensive, 360 experiences for our customers 

  • Constantly finding and testing new technology which enhance the social commerce experience, be it new social channels and tools, CRM or CS platforms. 

  • Report to the MD, wider business and Board on the performance of Social against KPIs, as well as latest innovations and tests trialed.

  • A sound understanding of platforms and technologies, their integration and application.
