Job Description

Social Chain are looking for a Paid Social Media Executive who possesses an energetic, enthusiastic and self-starting attitude to join our rapidly growing Paid team, working across the world’s biggest brands. Reporting to the Paid Social Media Manager, you will utilise your analytical and strategic skills to drive campaign performance in-line with brand objectives. Not only this, but you will flex your creative muscles and aid clients in delivering social first content that connects with their customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • You will own the end-to-end management and deliverables of specified paid social campaigns from implementation to optimisation, ensuring it delivers in-line with time, budget & overall client paid strategy.
  • Assist in planning, forecasting and managing budgets for client Paid Social activity - executing in-line with overall campaign strategy.
  • Responsible for carrying out day to day optimisation and management of campaigns, presenting suggested tactic changes to improve performance,
  • Develop & track new tests within campaigns (e.g. ad copy, landing pages, creatives, formats & more).
  • Gather campaign data and produce high standard reports inclusive of performance analysis, providing a full overview of channel successes & growth opportunities against key objectives.
  • Monitor the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services.
  • Assist in the creation of client facing documents (inclusive of proactive trend documents, new campaign proposals etc) and support  in client facing meetings and calls.
  • Work collaboratively with in-house creative and projects teams to ensure advertising creatives are best in class for Paid Social activity and client objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with external channel reps across Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and more.
  • Continuously spot new innovation opportunities within the paid media market and present ways in which we can apply to our clients.

Candidate Requirements

Must-haves

  • Minimum of 1 years Paid Social experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience of utilising Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Have experience assisting and executing full funnel paid social media campaigns (from brand awareness video campaigns, through to Direct Response conversion campaigns)
  • Experience / Understanding of advertising opportunities on wider social channels (inclusive of Twitter, Snapchat, etc)
  • Ability to advise on optimising content to perform highly on specific platforms.
  • Experience managing monthly Paid Social budgets and managing to a fixed ROI or CPA.
  • Experience running A/B tests and audience segmentation.
  • Highly analytical
  • Solid understanding of the social media landscape.
  • Willingness to learn fast, self-motivated & can-do attitude

Desirables

  • Experience in client facing meetings/calls
  • Have worked with external stakeholders (e.g. data providers, platform reps etc)
  • Experience running advertising beyond Facebook (e.g. Twitter, Snapchat)
  • Wider digital advertising knowledge and experience
